This is where trust and interoperability will become increasingly huge factors. As stuff like this actually gets adoption, you'll want and need your shirt to be able to talk to your central data box.
First, where is your central data box? With Google?
You better trust Google.
And of course, there is the logistical issue of your shirt needing to be able to talk to your central data box. There needs to be interoperability; to be able to interact with all computers. This is why open systems, open APIs, and open source (the final frontier) are becoming dominant paradigms. -- KM
