Totally stupid law. Not because we shouldn't assist blind people; we should, and those of us with sight should be extraordinarily grateful for that gift. But this is a classic example of something the free market can solve much more efficiently than government can. Underestimating the creativity of entrepreneurs and the economic efficiencies they can generate is almost always a bad idea. -- KM
