Facebook will have to get more open to grow. This is all good and well, although the problem is that ventures that start out open and build themselves along an open trajectory will have a different structure and will be able to innovate better and faster. There is also the issue that users will feel cheated, as they have before. For a customer relations intensive business like Facebook, that's not good. -- KM
