The Geek is having some personal problems and is closing shop.

The Geek is the most talented software developer I've ever encountered. Frankly, it's not even close. An extraordinary talent who was extraordinarily pleasant to deal with.

His contributions to the vBulletin community were greatly appreciated. They will be sorely missed.

The lesson? In the ecosystem game, when a player who created a ton of value for everyone else in the ecosystem leaves, we all feel it (psychologically and in terms of business plans). Hopefully, the rest of us in the vBulletin community will be able to pick up the slack and carry on the Geek's great work (continued development plans are in the works).
