In the beginning of the video below, former CIA agent Ray McGovern expresses concern about how cybersecurity will be used to exert greater control over the the Internet, and how cybersecurity is being headed up by individuals with a less than honorable track record.

At around the 5:30 minute mark, McGovern notes that war with Iran is imminent. At the 7:20 mark comes his take on how it will go down -- Israel will start the attack. At the 8:20 mark, he places the odds of Israel attacking Iran in August are greater than 50%. To avert this, McGovern suggests we contact our government officials and ask that they state they will not support Israel in an attack on Iran.


An imminent attack on Iran is something we've been hearing a lot about lately from credible sources; see this great article from Webster Tarpley, one of my favorite kooks, super smart guy and thorough researcher.

McGovern did previously claim an attack on Iran was on the table before the 2008 election (see our Ray McGovern archive). Based on my research, it seems like there are some factions within the US government that want war with Iran, and others that don't, and there is a struggle between the two factions over this issue.
