Wake Up, US Bloggers: Korey Rowe's Arrest Means Your Free Speech is Under Attack
Korey Rowe, a veteran of the unconstitutional wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and producer of the film Loose Change, has just been arrested.
For the sheeple who have been living under a rock for the past year, Loose Change is a documentary that has spread via the Internet that exposes 9/11 as an inside job. Although there are many 9/11 truth films, Loose Change is the most successful one: it has been viewed over 100 million times and is slated for distribution in movie theaters by billionaire Mark Cuban's distribution company. Although new media sheeple are too busy twittering their friends (and by "friends" I mean the 1500 people they've never met who are following their twitter feeds) about how they installed a Facebook app via their iPhone, Loose Change is a true example of what the future of filmmaking will look like -- and thus worth studying for anyone interested in new media. Click here to watch Loose Change for free. Why is the Arrest of Korey Rowe the Most Important Story You'll Read Today? There is no justification for the arrest. According to radio host Alex Jones -- an executive producer of Loose Change -- Rowe was arrested a year and a half ago on military desertion charges. The charges were dropped and Rowe was legally discharged. There is no justified reason for this arrest. Desertion rates are through the roof. Desertion is a huge problem in the military. Don't expect to read about this in the New York Times, Washington Post, or other members of the mockingbird media. But do you see other troops who have deserted being charged? It almost never happens, as the criminals who manage the illegal wars know that publicizing desertion decreases public support for the war. They know it wakes sheeple up. The point here is that Rowe was targeted. Make no mistake: he is a political prisoner. Controlling those involved in the production and distribution of Loose Change is the most effective way of making sure the film does not gain a larger audience. If you are a blogger, understand that this is an assault on free speech by a criminal government. What Can You Do to Be the Hero Who Saves the Day? 1. Spread the story. Use services like SocialPoster to submit all instances of the story to all social media sites. 2. Blog about it. If you think it is in your best interest not to because you don't want to offend all your "friends" on Twitter, ask yourself if it's in your best interest -- both for yourself and for your business -- to see free speech die. (Hint: It's not.) 3. If you live in fear and would never think of giving the cold hard truth, here are some ways you can be effective while softening the blow: + Blog about whether or not the arrest will help publicize the movie. Could it be a blessing in disguise? Getting arrested seemed to be good for Paris Hilton -- could it be good for Korey Rowe and Loose Change? Make it a marketing issue. + If you are a political blogger in the US, try to break out of the left/right/middle nonsense and address this very real issue and the ongoing rape of the Constitution. + If you do "daily links" type of blogging, sneak a link in there to this story. Link to the coverage of it on PrisonPlanet +Add a link to the story on your blogroll. Or better yet, why not add a link to a site like PrisonPlanet or JonesReport or WhatReallyHappened or 911Blogger? Fear is just an illusion in your mind, only as real as you choose to make it. 9/11 Truth is going to be very fashionable soon. Invest early. Historical Precedents: Dr. Dre and Billy Joel Billy Joel has stated that the controversy surrounding his song "Only the Good Die Young" helped the song's marketing effort immensely. NWA's track "F**** the Police" caused the FBI to contact Ruthless Records to voice their displeasure with the song; this in turn caused the song to gain more attention, and for it to catapult NWA and its visionary leader, Dr. Dre, into the spotlight. I'm not endorsing the messages of either one of those songs. I am telling you, though, that the arrest of Korey Rowe, like the crimes of 9/11, can be transformed from a curse into a gift if we use it as an opportunity to wake up. So spread this message. Don't do it for me, don't do it for the USA, don't do it for Korey Rowe, don't do it because it's the right thing to do. Instead, do it for yourself. Because if you live in a society where you can get arrested for making a movie that tells the truth than you're not living in a free society. And if you don't have freedom, you don't have anything. So liberate yourself: stop using your twitter feed to tell your "friends" about the Facebook app you installed from your iPhone, and use it instead to deliver the truth that will set you and your friends free. After all, that is what you'd do if those people were really your friends. |
