People Tell Me I'm an Indigo Child, Not Sure About That But It Sounds Good
Probably a few times a year I go to weird spiritual advisors -- basically psychics of one type or another. I recently went to Heather Vaughn, and I been meaning to go to Gabrielle Orr, although I keep postponing that, for better or worse. But those are the kinds of people I visit from time to time. I used to do it because I was desperate and searching for answers; now I do it because I think it can give me a leg up in fulfilling my destiny, and I find it oddly fun in a way (although sometimes they'll tell you really serious, shocking stuff....I still can't believe some of the stuff these people have told me, especially the astrologers).
Anyway, one of the things I've been told by a number of these people (more than one) is that I'm an Indigo child. Now, before we get on to defining what that is for those who are not familiar with the term, the first thing we have to do is question EVERYTHING the psychic tells us: are they telling me this because they honestly believe it or are they telling it to me because my stupid ass paid them so now they need to tell me something wonderful, preferably something that will get me to pay more and tell my friends. I must admit I got conned out of approximately $120 by one of these people, back when I was in college around the year 2000, by some lady in Brooklyn. (For Brooklynites, she's on the third stop on the L, I think....you know, the stop between Lorimer and Grand, she's right off there, unless her stupid ass moved to a new neighborhood to find some suckers to con.) So, what's an Indigo child, and even if people do believe in such a concept, is there any type of scientific evidence or anything (none that I can see....still wondering how anyone came up with this concept to begin with). Well I should note that the only reason I give the concept some more credence than I normally do is because Kerry Cassidy and Bill Ryan of Project Camelot have stated that Indigo and Crystal children will lead the way to a brighter consciousness, away from 2012 cataclysm. Of course I used to laugh at such notions, but when you get deep into kookology (i.e. aliens, mind control, etc) you learn not to laugh, or at least not after researching the matter fairly thoroughly. Here are some excerpts on Indigo children from StarChild: Quote:
So I guess I'm not special. ![]() Quote:
I don't know if any of this is true. I think it is worth considering, though, particularly for those who agree that a consciousness shift is coming, that the pace of human evolution is increasing (and that this is a part of the consciousness shift, and that our attitudes/thoughts/intentions are what will ultimately dictate what the new world order we are entering will look like -- whether it will be a centralized world government ruled by fear and ignorance, or whether it will be a renaissance marked by an unpredecented amount of liberty and innovation. |
