Our interest in artist Cosimo Cavallaro's 15,000-square-foot Williamsburg live/work space at
333 Kent Avenue (a former bakery) was reignited over the weekend, when we heard from the Cos himself. The entire dispatch was contained in the e-mail's subject line: "I HAVE A GREAT BUILDING THAT I Own THAT I WOULD SELL ANDY RODDICK IN WILLIAMSBURG BROOKYN ON KENT AVE ARE YOU INTERESTED IN MORE INFO?" Always, Cosimo,
always. If you recall, he planned on turning his home into an 11-story condo building called
Punctilio, before cooler heads prevailed and he put the place on the market for
$12.8 million. That price
later dropped to $5.95 million, a stunning 53% tumble. Now the Kent Avenue curiosity has been PriceChopped again, to
$4.955 million. All interested tennis aces can peruse the listing
right here.
Leaving the Williamsburg waterfront behind, we head to Tribeca for an update on
2 N Moore Street, the notorious
Our Suburb townhouse. The 11,000-square-foot mansionspread out over two buildings (one old, one new) with an indoor pool, three-car garage and 1,500 square feet of private outdoor spaceis
now asking $29 million, following previous asking prices of $35 million and $33 million. This most recent choppage actually happened over the summer, but we're just now noticing it. Sorry, we don't make it out to the suburbs too often.
