Below is the ad I'll be submitting to MTV via SaysMe.tv. I'm working with a video person on this, although I'm not sure if the audio levels need to be modified (here are the audio requirements). If anyone has any insight into this, please let me know.

I'm looking to air this ad on September 11, 2009.


As a recap, there are four reasons why I'm doing this:

1. to spread the truth that sets us free
2. to gain more publicity, and potential opportunities that arise from that
3. experiment with how Internet services like this have the potential to revolutionize media, and by extension, culture
4. amuse myself

Assuming I can get this ad through SaysMe.tv and then through the television networks, which remains a rather large assumption, SaysMe.tv will have this ad on their site so that anyone can buy it. Something to consider for those of you who want to support your good buddy Kid Mercury! I hope other truthers will look into these type of cost-effective ads that reflect how the Internet empowers independent publishers, and frees society from the corporate media cartel -- the true gift of the Internet. If we can raise more money, I'd like to create and buy ads promoting WeAreChange and Infowars -- two organizations serious about making a better world, and pursuing the most effective path towards doing so.

At this point I should also note that while I try to make the truth lighthearted and the process of spreading it enjoyable, there is of course risk in doing this. But as we know, fear is for two types of people: suckers and chumps. I try not to be either, and thus am happy to persevere in the face of fear.

Regarding my other antics, I should note that TuneCore takes 45 days to report sales. This is really a bummer for my fundraising efforts, which involves using sales of my music to buy ads like this one. So sales of my song defending Howard from JDawg and Mikey will take a bit more time before I can donate the proceeds to WeAreChange. But you should still buy it to support the truth! (and Howard!) I'm not sure if it's in iTunes yet (I don't download products made by Crapple so I don't know for certain), but it should be, it's usually in there within a week of uploading.
