Today is April 15th. In the United States, that's Tax Day.

It is important to note that there is no law requiring payment of income taxes.

For emphasis, let's repeat that. There is no law requiring payment of income taxes.

Don't take my word for it. Do your own research (you can start with our archive here on KidMercuryBlog). And check out the video below from ex-IRS agent Joe Banister and Congressman Ron Paul. Banister was taken to Court for failure to pay income tax after he found out there was no law requiring it. He won the case.


However, I would recommend paying the tax (I pay mine), because if you don't luck out and get a good jury, you will end up in jail like Irwin Schiff. Incidentally, Irwin Schiff is the father of Peter Schiff, one of the few people who goes on television and spreads the Truth about the economy; see our song, Peter Schiff, Thank You for Going on TV and Telling the Truth, for more. LOL. I really enjoy that song.
