I had a post on past lives planned for today, but I'm a bit tired and have more pressing work to do. So we'll get to the past lives issue a bit later.

In the mean time, below is a short playlist of five songs: four great songs by folks you probably never heard of -- people I think are really talented and deserve to be famous (and hence I'm doing my part!); the fifth song in the playlist is the song "Get Up" off the band Travis' latest album. Travis' new album is pretty good, I like Travis a lot. I think Fran Healy, singer and principal songwriter of Travis, is quite brilliant; my second favorite active songwriter, behind Noel Gallagher. But while the new Travis album is unsurprisingly quite good, it doesn't compete with last year's The Boy With No Name. That was a great f'ing album!
