Obligatory Thanksgiving Day Post
Many people think kooks are pessimisstic, bitter people: "all you do is talk about bad stuff and how the world is going to end," say the masses.
That's not true. The reality, in fact, is just the opposite: kooks are deeply optimistic people. Because we see the problem in its magnitude and STILL believe we can defeat it. Ironically, it is the masses who are pessimisstic, as the reason they shun the Truth is because they are too cynical to believe the Lie can be defeated. And so, this Thanksgiving, I'd like to thank all the kooks that worked tirelessly for the generally unacknowledged task of defending liberty. These people span all nationalities, genders, and backgrounds. What unites them is timeless and universal. What unites them is freedom. Truthers like me who just started truthin' over the past few years are just coming in for the victory lap. The real freedom fighters are the folks who were doing this pre-9/11. Like before the Internet revolution. So to all those folks, thank you. I enjoy presenting myself as the messenger here to deliver the Truth that sets you free, but it's the old school kooks who deserve the maddest of props. They're the real Kid Mercury. Thanks for paving the race track, so that the rest of us could come in for the victory lap. Video Thanks from Jason Mraz If you do the whole Thanksgiving tradition of going around the table saying what you're thankful for, and if you don't know what to say, Jason Mraz has some advice for you. Consider showing Jason your thanks by singing our song for him. I'm going to see Jason when he comes to Miami Beach in a couple weeks. I thought about standing outside and setting up a little table and playing my song for him outside the venue, while promoting my web site. And then video recording the whole thing and uploading it to YouTube so we could all get a chuckle/awakening out of it. You know how I roll, I combine OMG with LOL. Hahahaha! Enjoy your Thanksgiving. |
