Axl Rose and the China Problem
America has lots of problems, as you probably know. There's one problem, though, that's bigger than almost all of the others.
The China Problem. What is the China Problem? The China Problem is the problem resulting from the following: 1. The US government continues remarkably high levels of spending while its tax base is diminishing and taxes are not being raised. This means the US government must raise debt via the sale of US Treasury bonds. 2. China has been one of the biggest buyers of Treasury bonds. 3. Now, though, China is creating its own massive stimulus packages. 4. As China decides to increase spending significantly on its own economy, it has less money available to buy US Treasuries. 5. This comes at a time when the US government, because of the bailouts it has promised, needs more and more access to debt, causing its credit spending to reach record levels. 6. So who's going to buy all this new debt that the US government is issuing? If no one is willing to buy US debt, the US government may need to print that money via the Federal Reserve System. This will result in massive currency devaluation. We talked about this previously in our initial post on inflation vs. deflation. The fact that the US is threatening to become militarily aggressive with allies of the Chinese, like Russia and China, is another ominous sign; it allows China to wage economic warfare by selling its US Treasuries and refusing to buy additional ones. That's the China Problem. Calling on Axl Rose to Solve the China Problem Most people, when they want to solve a problem like this one, would look to university-funded economists, government officials, or international media conglomerates for help. Hey, to each their own, I say. But I'm not calling on any establishment people to solve the problem. I've got a much more logical choice. Axl Rose. I wrote a song for Axl entitled "Axl Rose, We Live in a Chinese Democracy" to help Axl understand the problem at hand, so that he can learn about the issues at hand, and can join the fight for liberty. I invite you to join me in singing to Axl. Or write your own song, if you're up for it. I'm not really a fan of my jam for Axl. Which is a shame, I really wanted to write a good song for Axl, since I am a huge GNR fan; I taught myself how to play guitar largely by studying Guns. Slash is a truly great blues rock guitarist. Anyway. You should check out the song Madagascar, which I tried to make this song sound a bit like. And you should check out the unreleased song from the early '90s "Just Another Sunday," which I'll probably do a cover of at some point. So that's off. I just uploaded "Axl Rose, We Live in a Chinese Democracy" to TuneCore, so it should be in all the online stores and streaming services shortly. |
