Calif. approves gay marriage ban

I don't understand why gay people care. Who the f cares whether the state acknowledges your relationship or not. Government is not much more than the highest form of organized crime, a shameless exploitation of the need for people to organize and live together peacefully. So do you care if the mafia ignores your relationship? Gay or straight, who cares what the state sanctions?

One of the reasons people care so much is because it is like fashionably rebellious in some circles to support gay marriage. That's all good and well, if that's the way you roll, but there are better and more meaningful ways to be fashionably rebellious which I would advocate. 9/11 Truth. And besides, if you solved the 9/11 truth problem, that would be so revolutionary it'd result in a world where it'd probably be easy for you to find a local government that supported gay marriage (and where people who don't want gay marriage could find their own local community...you can thus hate each other in peace :) ). 9/11 Truth is about freedom, freedom is about limited and local government that serves its constituents -- not big, federalized power that destroys, taxes, and enslaves.

Anyway, another issue to think about on this on is whether or not there was election fraud (see our archive on election fraud). I don't know, I haven't really been following this issue, but election fraud is a reality and so it always is possible. Another thing to speak out against and be fashionably rebellious on! -- KM

The secretary of state said that with 95 percent of precincts reporting the proposal to limit marriage to members of the opposite sex had been approved by 52.1 percent of voters, compared with 47.9 percent who voted against.
