Usage of the term "conspiracy theories" is a great example of how brainwashed society is. The actual definition of the term "conspiracy theory" is a hypothesis (i.e. theory) that a bunch of people secretly colluded to do something (conspiracy). Whether you think a bunch of cave dwellers pulled off 9/11 or whether you think it is the military-industrial complex that has the means, motives, opportunities, and historical track record, either way it's a conspiracy theory. But the term has been twisted to mean "delusional person who is against the official story."
I prefer embracing the term -- actually I prefer the term "kooks" because it's shorter and I think it sounds funnier. Either way, two thumbs down way down for Arianna Huffington and her blog. -- KM
