P.S. That Pluto transit through the 3rd will take a long time before any changes will be seen. As for the money and the second house, we will soon see. Let me now if anything good comes out of it. ![]() |

the second part you mentioned about feeling restricted in communication certainly rings true. though i always feel restricted, and never feel like i fit in, or can communicate in accordance with social norms -- i think this blog reflects that. though i interpreted this as an expression of the 11th house stellium (particularly mercury in the 11th regarding communication), as well as uranus in the first. those were good questions. you got me thinking! ![]() |

I was wondering where this problem was coming from: I wasn't sure if a sign on a cusp can really have such a strong influence. Still not sure, but your answer appears to be similar to my experience. I don't doubt though that you are much more practical in your organisation of communication (when I have masses of text to summarize, I tend to get lost in details - Mercury in the 12th). I am curious: when you say you reorganize the information on the web into niche communities, what does that mean exactly? What kind of communities are these niche communities and what kind of organization do you deal with? |

moon and north node in your 9th i think can help you resolve foreign culture and writing issues. i think the square between your moon and your 12th house pluto and mercury may be worth focusing on. it has a wide orb, but the way you are describing things makes me think it is relevant. if you think about "moon issues," especially in the context of a pluto and mercury square, i think you may have a better time resolving communications issues, if that makes sense.
regarding my business, the basic idea is this: 1. create a community site about a given topic. it could be anything: cooking italian food, learning to play guitar, learning a foreign language, etc 2. there is a blogger that is the moderator of the community, sort of like a community president. they scour the web for good content on that topic: good youtube channels, good blogs, etc 3. all that content gets imported in automatically 4. the blogger then gives the content meaningful tags 5. the blogger and the community then find all the good products related to the topic of their community; i.e. good books, tools they can use, etc 6. this is the basis for a filtered storefront that sells good products 6. this creates a community that has filtered and reorganized the web in relation to a niche topic we then combine all these sites to create a new search engine, and to allow easy cross-promotion -- so that a member of one site can easily become a member of other relevant communities, and can have a single identity across all these communities. it may be a bit tough to conceptualize if you are not an internet person. one company that is kinda sorta similar is ning.com. they let you setup your own social network -- your own site like myspace or facebook. i am trying to do something similar, although we are catering to more professional bloggers, and are trying to help them build a passionate community that they can monetize. ning prides itself on ease of use; anyone can setup their own social network on ning in under 30 seconds, so people like local church communities, township sports teams, and stuff like that will find ning to be useful. with regards to the 11th house, i think an 11th house stellium like what you and i have can help one understand group psychology -- i.e. the psychology of a subculture. in my opinion 11th house isn't the best at conformity or participation in the mainstream, but it can understand what makes a small culture click. or at least i hope so, because a key part of marketing my sites will be understanding how to build a small culture and how to make it "click." ![]() |

Interesting concept, I like the idea, although I don't remember having ever seen such site. Must be very useful, especially for people who are not used to surf the web to find all the stuff the site provides (not to mention that sometimes you might find something useful you wouldn't even think of searching for otherwise).
This job does reflect 11th house, since you are doing something for a "greater good". Lots of people can profit from the result of your work - that does feel good, doesn't it. Personally, I don't like it when people expect me/force me to help them, but once I get over that, I do feel good about it. What you say about mainstream participation in society, maybe you are right. Mainstream sounds more 10th house - where you accept the rules of the society. In the 11th you are suppose to be creative in society (as opposed to the 5th house - creative individually), which might demand from you to do things which are not very common and accepted (how can you be original by doing only what is expected from you to do?). |
