Books To Help You Get A Real Business Education (Not A Fake One)
Question: What's a bigger joke than the public education system in the United States?
Answer: Nothing! In addition to giving your kids "knowledge" about how a magic bullet killed Kennedy and a guy in a cave pulled off 9/11, they've begun to terrorize your kids. It's not an education system. It's an indoctrination system. Hopefully you're rich enough to send your kids to a private school, or are lucky enough to live in one of those rare neighborhoods where the public schools are actually decent. But in any event, if you're looking for a real business education, I strongly recommend the books listed below. The foundation of everything I blog about comes from these books -- so if you think this blog gives you good business information, then these books will be even better. All these books are great and highly recommended, but the ones in bold are fantastic. The Innovator's Dilemma The Innovator's Solution Seeing What's Next Dealing With Darwin The Only Sustainable Edge Net Worth Information Rules Markets of One The Wealth of Networks New Rules for the New Economy Out of Control The Keystone Advantage Linked The Future of Ideas Co-opetition The Death of Competition Enterprise One to One Permission Marketing Brand Hijack Unleashing the Ideavirus Built to Last Out of the Box To understand global power structure (the real power structure, not the stuff they tell you about on television), I highly recommend the books listed below.
