Well, it's more of business as usual here at KidMercuryBlog.com -- which means we've got more love songs! Here's what's new:
Ode for Marc Andreessen. As I've noted many times on this blog, I consider
Marc Andreessen to be a good friend of mine, as both of us have plans to make a lot of money on the web by building niche social networks, while also using our blogs to advance the 9/11 Truth Movement. As a gesture for my friend, and because Marc deserves to be acknowledged for the great businesses that he has given us and for the bold step he has taken in using his blog to promote 9/11 Truth, I wrote
this song for him.
As always, I ask all people -- but particularly those whom Marc has shown the most love to, which is the business community and the 9/11 Truth community -- to give back to Marc the love that he has shown for us by performing your own version of this song. Especially the band
Soul Patch -- c'mon
Jason, let's hear you guys sing one for our boy Marc!!! Drop an original, cover my jam "
Ode for Marc Andreessen" -- whatever you prefer, it's all good. And if you need me to drop backup vocals on a jam for Marc, just holler. Remember, this is a part of
Operation LoveSong, so it's all about showing the love! And the web tech community definitely needs to show Marc some love -- and, since Soul Patch is arguably the most successful web technology band of
ALL TIME, I'm asking you guys to step up to the plate and drop a jam for Marc.
Sagittarian Girl. I recorded a new version of this that sounds better than
the horrifyingly awful version I recorded last time (
here is the new and improved version). While the song's corniness is almost embarrassing -- something I previously thought I was immune to -- I still like the song quite a bit; it will make Kid Mercury's Greatest Hits Volume I. In true Sagittarian spirit, I will eventually turn this into a rock extravaganza, complete with a horn section, string section, choir...call up
Slash to drop a killer guitar solo....anything to help strengthen the Sagittarian spirit! So spread the song far and wide, not only to show love, but also because if it got popular I could make merchandise around it and sell it to Sagittarian girls! Hooray for making
money!
So there you go. We'll be back with more love songs as a part of
Operation LoveSong to serve as ammunition in our battle against the imposition of a tyrannical, fear-based society. I'll be focusing on some more love songs for members of the web technology community. Even though they won't link to me (even though I publish quality
business reports) because I drop 9/11 Truth, I'll still write love songs for them, in hopes that doing so will help transform the fear that they are slaves to into love, which in turn will give them the courage to embrace the Truth that sets them free.
