Bank centralization can only occur if banks collapse and can be acquired by bigger banks at a low price. JP Morgan's acquisition of Bear Stearns earlier in 2008 is a classic example of this. For more of this to occur, the US economy will need to deteriorate, which is why the Establishment plans on doing just that over the next few years. -- KM
