I view open source economics as essential to solving the problems of the world, and a natural evolution in free market capitalism. While Facebook sucks immensely -- they won't even let you sign up with a fake name!!!! -- this is a a great strategic move. Just as technology companies are going open source with their business model, the next revolution in the publishing business (i.e. music, books, movies) is in learning to make money by giving away free music and encouraging it to be remixed. Slowly but surely, we're getting there. -- KM
