Matriarchy in the Age of Aquarius

Matriarchy in the Age of Aquarius

We've talked before about the Age of Aquarius, as the coming collapse of the matrix -- the false reality we live in -- can be viewed as the prelude to the Age of Aquarius. Below is a passage from astrologer Jeffrey Wolf Green, one of the most influential astrologers of the 20th century, from the book Measuring the Night: Evolutionary Astrology and the Keys to the Soul. I don't fully agree with the gender views Green presents, but I think the return to natural law is a key part of how things will operate once the insitutions of the matrix collapse.

The last Aquarian Age was twenty-five thousand years ago. Men want to call that time the fruition of the matriarchy. Which itself is erroneous, because what they call "the matriarchy" in so many ways is simply a metaphor for how we've lived the majority of our time on this planet, meaning under natural law, by the principles of nature. If one is living in harmony with natural law, one realizes that it is in fact the feminine principle which manifested the male principle. All forms of life when originally conceived are feminine. This must mean something. For those who want to objectify things, the penis is like an extended clitoris. The feminine creates the masculine.

It's men who want to think in terms of hierarchy and would call the social system of the last Aquarian Age a matriarchy. In natural law, natural living, there are no hierarchies. Even though the woman was the ultimate authority, that was not lived out in the way that ment in the patriarchal sense would live it. Things were simply lived as they naturally are. For example, if you live with an Indian tribe, which I have done, the corn picker and the shaman are co-equal. It's not a matter of who's better or worse; it's a matter of what role has to be fulfilled to sustain the whole. It's a natural order and natural law.
