This Wednesday, February 6, is a solar eclipse.
Solar eclipses mark a time when pent up psychological energy is released into conscious awareness, often resulting in external change. An example would be a person who has been thinking about breaking up with their boyfriend/girlfriend for a few weeks or months. The eclipse would mark a time when that energy is conducive to being expressed in the real world -- i.e. they have the talk that results in the break up.
What sphere of your life this eclipse affects is dependent upon where the eclipse falls in your birth chart. For me, for instance, it falls in the area of my life related to home and housing; I'm now getting ready to leave my God-forsaken apartment, in search of a better home and new experiences.
This eclipse is particularly noteworthy, as it concludes the Pisces/Virgo eclipse cycle that started in March of 2006. Since March of 2006, all the eclipses have fallen in Pisces or Virgo; this February 6 solar eclipse marks the beginning of a new 2 year cycle, during which eclipses will fall on the Aquarius/Leo axis. Any projects you may have embarked upon at the onset of the cycle (i.e. March 2006) may be concluding during this month and the next. For me, March of 2006 was when I began the process of quitting working for the Man and selling all my belongings so I could move into my current apartment.
I'm definitely trying to use the current energy to find a new home. Maybe even live the nomad life, wandering the world, working from my computer. If I can pull it off financially, I would definitely do that.
