We reference the term "the matrix" quite frequently on this blog. I think it is an intuitive and useful way of explaining the concept of the false reality.

Here are some definitions and examples of the matrix in action.

1. the left/right political paradigm
2. the mainstream media
3. consensus reality

Internet business people are familiar with the concept of "web 2.0" -- Internet stuff related to the concept of interactivity, and users producing content on the web, rather than simply being passive consumers.

Web 2.0 is about humanity being set free from the matrix.

It's our get out of jail free card, and our ticket to a wonderful new reality.
