Email Tax and Other Bright Ideas from the Ruling Class
I understand that many Internet business people are afraid of talking about 9/11 truth, political censorship on Google, political censorship on MySpace, or the trillions missing from the Pentagon (it is like widespread looting in there, folks, and remember that that's YOUR money). Even though those are hugely important issues that directly impact people's finances, I know that most people give in to fear. People will whine to no end if you lift three paragraphs from their blog post about how their dog's crap smells, but mum's the word when the government steals TRILLIONS from them and censors their right to speak. But I know fear is what stops most people from being the best they can be, so I can at least understand why the business fear-osphere won't talk about these hugely important issues.
But what I find even more frustrating is that I see almost no one mention the talk of a tax on email, or the nonsense that Tony Blair is pitching. Once you remove fear from your decision making process, it becomes obvious that this is something people need to be aware of -- because if they're talking about it, they might do it. And remember, these are the folks that brought you 9/11. They're not your friends, they're not using government to serve people, they're not playing games, and they don't care about you. |
