By most astrological calendars, Pluto will enter Capricorn on January 26, 2008. It will conjunct Jupiter in Capricorn, and will form a square (90 degree angle) to Uranus in 2008 as well.
These astrological aspects are, in my opinion, the most interesting ones when looking to astrology for insight into 2008. Below is my take on this topic; for more, check out
our other posts on Pluto in Capricorn.
Politically, The Seed of a Peaceful Revolution is Planted
The last time we saw Pluto in Capricorn was in 1762, when the seed of the American Revolution was being planted. Here is
a great astrological article on the subject. I think we will see the same thing occur this time. It is fitting that Ron Paul's supporters refer to his campaign as "the Ron Paul Revolution."
Of course, revolutions take time, and Pluto travels slowly. In 2008, we should look for the level of awareness to rise, as the criminals become more blatant in their approach. It is already pretty blatant, but election fraud, which is almost guaranteed to happen -- and hence why we need
brilliant grassroots initiatives like this one. It will be very interesting to see if there is any fraud in New Hampshire, probably the most freedom-loving (and hence Ron Paul-loving) state in the country. It will also be very interesting to see how the people react if another false-flag attack like 9/11 is pulled off. While the majority of people are still sheeple, dissatisfaction with government and awareness of 9/11 Truth is rising.
Financially, The Existing Structure Collapses
Uranus square Pluto is an aspect that is associated with financial turmoil in the US. Here is an excerpt from
a great StarIQ article:
Uranus-Pluto squares that simultaneously formed harsh angles to key points in the USA's horoscope have marked major turning points in American history:
1620s: African slaves introduced to Jamestown Colony
1670s: Bacon's Rebellion in Virginia Colony
1870s: Great Depression
1930s: Great Depression
Uranus and Pluto will form their next square angle beginning in 2008 and lasting a record long time till 2019. This aspect will be tightening its orb by 2012. It will be most exact in 2014 and 2015.
Of course, as business people, we should look for ways to create value and profit by building the new systems that will replace the existing infrastructure systems. Key trends that are related to building a new infrastructure include:
- RSS (the "pipes" of the web, especially for a lot of the remix/mashup/semantic web stuff)
- Peer-production communities (the new corporate structure)
- Microfinance (the new finance infrastructure)
Invest accordingly!
If you're looking for an astrological reading, I always recommend
Erin Sullivan. If you like the mythology/hero stuff I write about, Erin deserves a lot of credit for that, as I learned all about it from
her outstanding books. Erin's web site says she does consultations for businesses.
