Black Knight. When I first started studying SEO in 2003 reading through Black Knight's posts on
Cre8asite forums was immensely valuable. Find everything you can by him and read it; I found that to be a good way to learn. Here's
the blog he sometimes posts at. He also sometimes posts on
SEOMoz. Dude drops knowledge like it's going out of style.
SEO by the Sea. No nonsense, good info. Kid Mercury approved, without a doubt.
Stuntdubl. Back when I was more into SEO, this was one of my favorite blogs. Very well written.
Michael Martinez. Highly recommended, but probably not the best starting point, if you're new to the subject.
SEOBook. As much of a cheapskate as I am -- and I'll be honest with you, I'm all about the minimalist lifestyle -- the book is worth it, and great for people looking for an introduction to the topic.
There are plenty of other good resources, although those four are some of my favorites and the ones I am most eager to recommend. I trust that as SEO changes they too will be able to adapt.
