Ron Paul Announces Candidacy for 2008 US Presidential Election
Representative Ron Paul has recently announced his decision to run for president in the United States 2008 presidential election.
Ron Paul, currently a member of the Republican party who has previously run as a Libertarian, is the rarest of gems: an honest and intelligent politican.
Below is a video of Ron Paul talking about the very real and looming danger of world government.
Here is a brief 11 second clip of Ron Paul talking about the emergence of a police state in the United States.
While Representative Ron Paul accepts the official 9/11 story (which as a reminder is that some dude in a cave got 19 of his buddies to hijack two planes, get past the world's most powerful air defense, and crash those two planes into two buildings to cause three buildings to fall at near free fall speed [presumably the fact that the FBI admits there is no hard evidence connecting the cave-dwelling bin Laden to the attack, and that BBC has reported that some of the hijackers are alive, is irrelevant]), Paul has openly and harshly criticized the investigation and policy decisions made in light of 9/11. Here is an essay he wrote about the lessons of 9/11.
I proudly endorse Ron Paul for President in 2008. If you are a US resident that is not part of the extraordinarily small minority that benefits from the vast majority of federal government policies, then it is my opinion that Ron Paul is the ideal candidate for you as well. And if you live abroad and are not particularly keen on US imperialism, Paul is your friend.
To put it simply: Ron Paul is a hero. He gives us the truth, he has principles, and he knows a better world is possible. If given the opportunity, he will bring that better world to us -- just as heroes always do.
