In about a week, this blog will not be at this location; you will be able to access it by going to www.actoelection.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7. If you come via feed, no worries, all is good. :)
If you're curious as to why this is happening, see the explanation below. Otherwise, I'll be back in a week or so with some posts that I hope will be of more use to you.

In a strange turn of events, I accidentally turned my blog into an election site.
The goal was to create a few small communities on an experimental basis; I am still working on standardizing and lowering the cost of production of online learning communities, and wanted to experiment with the idea of grouping a few small communities in the forum I setup for this blog on ActoNetwork.
One of the things I was working on was a community for the 2008 US election; I figured it would only need a few pages to explain each of the candidates.
There was so much great media out there on the candidates, though, that I got excited and imported it in, and began to organize it.
Next thing I knew I had accidentally turned my blog into a community for the 2008 election.
I thought about just moving the site to a new domain, but I didn't see the point. While this blog is somewhat important to me, it is still primarily a scratch pad type thing -- just content I am working on until I aggregate it into something larger (most likely a book/community thing....I'm half-jokingly contemplating a "web 2.0 and the greatest conspiracy" type of book. Truthful conspiracies that I can back up with facts are a dime a dozen, but organizing it properly and connecting it all to web 2.0 so it is useful might be a bit tougher for me).
Anyway, that's how I accidentally turned my blog into an election site.
Since an election site obviously cannot have a kook calling himself Kid Mercury and talking about
Neptune and
Pluto on its home page, this blog won't be accessible from this home page, but instead will be able to be found at
www.actoelection.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7.
But fear not, for this blog will still continue, and will still offer a combination of kook, truth, and web 2.0 strategy.
I apologize for the flurry of boring administrative posts. I'll return in a week or so with something that I hope you'll find more interesting. :)
