This article is GREAT as an example of how media manipulation works. Ex-CIA agent Bob Baer (George Clooney's character in the movie Syriana is a fictionalized version of Baer) wrote this article for mainstream media outlet Time Magazine. The article gives some credibility to the notion that a 9/11 coverup is going on, but uses the term "conspiracy theorists" three times -- even in the title -- in an article with less than 1,000 words.

When an ex-CIA officer tells you we need transparency on 9/11 and writes an article in a respected outlet like Time Magazine, and gives some credence to kooks but ultimately calls them "conspiracy theorists," you have reason to believe that what you're seeing is a limited hangout -- a way for the Establishment to control both sides: the investigation and the crime. It's the story of history, an old trick used by intelligence agencies and the secret societies that they were borne out of.

Of course, now we have the Internet, and so we have blogs like this one, and the ability to email our friends, Twitter our followers, poke our Facebook friends, or, as we roll in the ActoNetwork, create entire virtual worlds -- ActoWorlds -- that we can use to spread the Truth that sets us free. -- KM
