Unlike your run of the mill social network -- Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, etc. -- we here in Kid Mercury's World have a purpose: to deliver the Truth that sets the business community free, so that they can become the heroes they were born to be.

Our efforts are always a community effort; you can get involved at any time, by registering and then publishing on your blog in our world. But of course, as Andrew Jackson said, one man with courage makes a majority. And so I am happy to make the majority myself, if that is what is needed.

In any event, what is also needed is for Jeff Jarvis, a graduate professor at City University of New York, to wake up to the Truth about 9/11. We've talked about the rude treatment Jeffrey has shown to the 9/11 Truth Movement, a movement supported by many of the highest ranking officials in governments across the world. Jeffrey is probably a good individual -- he is just misinformed, the result of a corrupt media, a willfully ignorant and apathetic population, and a criminal network (aka the New World Order).

And so, in order for Professor Jarvis to become a real teacher of journalism, he is going to have to a learn a thing or two about how the world really works. With that in mind, it is my great pleasure to announce the birth of a new community project here in Kid Mercury's World: Homework for Jeffrey, a community initiative to give Jeff Jarvis homework assignments, so that he can experience the Truth that sets him free -- and so he can spread that Truth to his students, and to all whom he may encounter.

Your first homework assignment, Jeffrey, is to view this video below from WeAreChange LA. It is a great example of user-generated content, mashups, guerrilla journalism, social media....essentially all the buzzwords you can think of. It's got another buzzword too: Truth.
