One of the ongoing projects we have here in Kid Mercury's World is sheeple vs kooks -- our initiative to track who knows what's up in the Internet business world. To find out who amongst us has chosen to serve fear and lies, and who has chosen to serve love and Truth.

Unsurprisingly, our list of sheeple is greater than our list of kooks; it takes courage and integrity to be a kook, and we know that most people don't have that (not because they don't have it innately, but rather because they CHOOSE not to live up to their potential).

But I want to see if we can add some more kooks to the list. Specifically, I'm looking for venture capitalists, as I think I can find some rich, intelligent, successful, and respected people who will choose to serve the Truth rather than lies. Or at least I'm looking to spin it that way.

There are two in particular I'd really like to add to the list: Fred Wilson and Brad Feld.

Fred Wilson. As the premiere VC blogger, Fred has a lot of clout and a nice community of passionate readers. If Fred goes kook, it'd have an impact. It'd make it easier for the next person to stand up and choose love instead of fear, choose Truth instead of lies. It'd also help make being a kook cool. Once we cross that point, all the sheeple will cross over. Some will even pay for it!

Fred's not making it easy for me to call him a kook, though. He loves the New York Times too much. Admittedly the New York Times is one of the finer institutions plugged into the matrix, as it occassionally has some good articles. But what can't be denied is that they made a big production out of 9/11 when it happened -- and of course, they pushed the Cave Story as the cause, and have given virtually no attention to 9/11 Truth. Whenever a media outlet does that, there are only three possibilities: (1) they've done no homework whatsoever; (2) they're a bunch of scaredy cats willing to self-censor themselves of the Truth; (3) they're a bunch of mockingbirds. Given that CIA documents openly admit that the New York Times was a mockingbird, I think the answer is pretty clear.

Anyway, Fred, if you're considering becoming a kook, we'd love to have you. Unlike the sheeple who only want you for your money, we want you for your willingness to stand for love and freedom -- the things that make life worth living, but the very things that money can't buy (like the Beatles told us). So, on behalf of kooks everywhere, I ask that you take the plunge and go kook. Maybe a blog post asking questions about 9/11. Maybe a post talking about how Ron Paul is the best presidential candidate since Robert Kennedy (I think finding a way to compare Ron Paul to JFK or RFK could help bring Dumbocrats over to the Ron Paul Revolution). Maybe a post talking about how great it is that the Internet is making a real impact in government via the Ron Paul Revolution. Toss me a bone and I'll paint you to be one of the world's best kooks -- right up there with billionaire Mark Cuban and serial billion dollar company starter Marc Andreessen. And I know you got a billion dollar game, Fred (frankly, I think you might have multiple billion dollar games based on your portfolio, but I guess only time will tell us if that is the case). Anyway, think about it. After all, it's just the Truth. Nothing more, nothing less.

Brad Feld. This will not be too hard, I found a way I can spin Brad as being a full-blown kook. It would be great to have more evidence; especially something that's angry. People need to get angry about what's going on in this world, especially in the United States. So if you want to give me more evidence of your kookiness, Brad, I'd love to have it. If not, congratulations anyway -- I already have enough ammo to spin you as a kook, a hero who chooses love instead of fear, Truth instead of lies. I'll be posting about that shortly, so stay tuned.

But I know Fred and Brad are not the only potential kook VCs out there. Many of you are intelligent, respected, wealthy, and most importantly, want to be a part of making Earth the Heaven it was destined to be. So go kook. Become the hero who delivers the Truth that sets his people free. All you have to do is choose it.
