I think this is worth a shot for Google. If they are going to be build a community, doing it straight from the SERPs is, in my opinion, the best route -- it's the stickiest thing Google has and it is the thing Google customers are most passionate about. If it works, this could be a big blow to other companies, as it will help Google win at one element of the social game -- and could be a foot in the door for more social stuff. -- KM
