InfowarsNation has been launched! A few things I wanted to note:

1. I'm pleased that the process of generating these community portals -- ActoWorlds -- is getting better; this one was pretty effortless to create. As we progress, we'll be able to generate the entire thing automatically, which I'll be very excited about. The power of automation is really going to a new level, something that is very exciting and has great potential to improve the world (assuming it is used responsibly).

2. ActoWorlds are best suited for new media publishers that have passionate communities; ActoWorlds are tools to help engage the community, and help publishers profit from the contributions of their community. See our series on Publishing 2.0 for more on the future of publishing. That is why I feel Infowars, and publishers like Infowars, can get the most out of ActoWorlds; it's a solution that helps them get the most out of their community, and also gives them a destination that they can eventually use to create their own economy by creating a marketplace of sellers they trust. Trusted niche publishers -- like SEOMoz in the search marketing space and TechCrunch in the startup news space -- are already positioning themselves to intermediate their markets.

Of course, the grand ActoPlan is to create a governing body that helps individual ActoWorlds share non-user specific data and operating costs (i.e. software development) so as to maximize their value creation and profit capture opportunities -- while also giving customers the data portability they seek. But that is for later; the first step is to create and manage ActoWorlds for publishers that can use them to build and monetize their own communities. And it is with that in mind that InfowarsNation has been created for Infowars.
